Coastal Edge Properties Rental Policies
To Make A Reservation:
Contact us to receive a rental contract for your vacation dates.
Fax or mail back a signed copy of
the rental contract. After we receive the contract, we will notify you
to whether your dates are still available. If your dates are available,
a tentative reservation will be placed on the calendar. You then have
5 days
to submit the deposit and/or security deposit. The deposit due date will
be sent to you via email. Once the deposit is received, we will send you
a confirmation number via email confirming your reservation.
Failure to submit the security deposit within 5 days will automatically
cancel your reservation.
Refundable Security Deposit:
All
reservations require a refundable deposit to book your vacation.
This deposit is not included in the rental rates. It is refunded if the keys are returned,
the property is left free of
damage and the cleanliness of property does not require beyond
normal cleaning time. Please allow up to one week after your departure to receive
your security deposit refund. You will be held responsible for any damages to your vacation property
that exceeds the security deposit.
Check-In:
4pm / Check-Out: 10am:
These times are set to
ensure ample time for all our condos to be cleaned and set-up for your stay
and the next guest checking in after you. We appreciate your understanding
and compliance with the time we need to make your stay as enjoyable as
possible. There
will be a full days charge if condo is not vacated by 10 am.
Payment
Methods:
All reservations require payment of the security deposit to
book your vacation. Payments made
less than
30 days prior to your arrival date may be applied to a Credit Card. Canadian payments must be in U.S.
funds. Personal checks accepted if received 30 days prior to arrival.
Condos: The rental amount including taxes, is due in two
payments, half 6 weeks prior and the remaining half 4 weeks prior to your
arrival date.
Homes: 50% of the rental amount and the
security deposit is due to make your reservation. Balance due 30 days prior
to rental. All reservation made less than 30 days prior to your arrival date
must be paid in full upon booking.
Returned
Checks:
A $25.00 service charge applies to any returned check.
Cancellations & Transfers:
If your travel plans
should change, please notify us as soon as possible. Your deposit is
refundable less a $50.00 processing fee if reservations are cancelled
30 days prior to your arrival date. All rental amounts will be forfeited
if cancelled 30 days or less to your arrival date. Confirmed
reservations are not transferable to another property. If property is
re-rented, all money prepaid will be refunded less the $50.00 processing fee.
Weather, Act of
God and Other Events:
In the event that there is
a mandatory evacuation of your vacation property, you will be
refunded each nights rent that the unit could not be occupied.
Capacity of
Accommodations:
No more than the maximum occupancy in any property is allowed.
Misrepresentation will result in eviction without refund.
No Pets/No Smoking/No House
Parties/Restrictions:
Pets are not allowed in any rental property.
All our properties are
non-smoking.
Absolutely no house will be tolerated.
We rent to families and adults over 25 only. These rules are
strictly enforced.
Violations of any of
these regulations will result in immediate denial of occupancy and
forfeiture of the full rental amount and security deposit.
Parking:
Parking is controlled by individual Home Owner
Associations at condominiums and some housing communities. Parking permits
are issued based on allocated space determined by individual condominium
associations or limitations of the property. All parking passes need to be
displayed in your vehicle(s) at all times. Coastal Edge Properties is not
responsible for parking rules, towing or parking tickets.
Complex Amenities and Equipment:
Complex amenities are maintained by individual Home Owner
Associations.
Should a problem occur with an amenity, each property works swiftly to
correct the problems as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee
air-conditioner or appliance breakdowns. If a problem should arise with
equipment in a unit, a refund on rent will not be made. We do guarantee that
repairs will be made as soon as possible. If you rent in the winter months
please be aware many properties make necessary repairs during winter season
therefore some amenities may not be in working order.
Vacation Condos / Homes Listed For Sale:
In some cases, Vacation
Condos / Homes may be listed for sale. In the event you reserved a Condo/Home
that has been sold, you will be notified at once by our office. Guests may
be moved to an alternative Condo / Home, and Coastal Edge Properties, in
good faith will make every effort to relocate guests in similar
accommodations, but if the substitute property is more expensive, the guest
must pay the difference. If the guest chooses not to pay the difference, all
monies will be refunded.
Limits of Liability:
Coastal Edge
Properties cannot be held liable for errors on this or other websites.
Errors can happen for one reason or another and may cause incorrect
information to be displayed. The staff monitors every transaction and will
contact you if errors are made. Descriptions and rates are subject to
correction or change without notice.
